In a press statement issued by him on Thursday, Hon. Oluwaseyi appreciated the people for their support from the beginning of the election to the end.

"I came out with one purpose and that was to represent our people and bring to them democratic dividends, even though the results might not have gone our way, nonetheless, I am grateful because we have won the heart of the people.

"From the very moment I declared my intention, the support I got from our people was massive, this is a big motivation for me and my team.

"And it is one that will continue to motivate us in our future relationship with the good people of this constituency."

He also appreciated the national leader of the party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, whom he described as an astute leader and progressive.
