The Senator representing Bayelsa West in the National Assembly, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson has felicitated with former President Goodluck Jonathan at 67.

Senstor Dickson who described the former President as his leader, father, elder brother, and boss, said his personal sacrifices for peace and democracy remain exemplary.

Senator Dickson expressed happiness at the current profile of the former President as a global player in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

He said that Jonathan has been playing his role as an elder statesman and making contributions to humanity in the global arena in consonance with what they discussed in 2015 when he called to concede victory to former President Mohammadu Buhari.

He prayed to God to grant the former President more years of good health in the service of humanity.

“On behalf of my family, I wish our leader, father, elder brother and boss, former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, a happy birthday as he clocks 67.

“I am happy that he has since joined and carrying on the role of an Elder statesman in the country and around the world which was what we talked about and envisaged before he made the historic call congratulating former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 on his victory.

“His personal sacrifices for democracy and peace remain examplary.

“Having worked closely under him, I know his passion for our state and everyone knows his passion for Nigeria while he served as vice president and president.

“I thank God for his life and pray that God grants him more years in good health for continued service to humanity.”
