Ugbome Condemns Killing Of Father Odia

Hon. Paschal Ugbome alias Ominimini, PDP candidate for Senate, Edo North Senatorial District, on Monday, in strong words, condemned the killing of Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Odia, who was abducted and killed by Fulani Herdsmen early hours of Sunday in Ikabigbo community of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

Reacting to the grousome murder of the Reverend Father, Ugbome described it as 'one death too many' and declared ‘ that Herdsmen and other Marauders have declared War against Afenmai Land and other parts of Nigeria but unfortunately the APC Government seems to have lost the ability to protect our Nation.

Ugbome called on Afenmai People to brace up and defend our FatherLand.He lauded the Effort of The Amalgamated Afenmai Forum which has established a vigilante group named 'Oduma Protection Squad' to assist in providing security for Afenmailand and called on all Afenmai sons and daughters to support this noble effort.


"My condolences goes to the immediate family of this gentle Rev. Father and to the Catholic Church as well. I pray that God would grant them the fortitude to bear this unimaginable loss."
