She Deserves A National Honour â€“ Nigerians React As Elderly Woman Pilgrim Returns Lost N61 Million ($80k) To The Owner In Saudi Arabia

Nigerian pilgrim identified as Hajiya Aishatu yâ€™an Guru Nahuce has been praised for returning a sum of $80,000 cash (N61 million) to the owner during Hajj in Saudi Arabia.

This was disclosed via the Facebook page of Independent Hajj Reporters of Nigeria today Saturday, July 8, 2023.
The post shared with the picture of the woman read: â€œThis Nigerian pilgrim Hajiya Aishatu yâ€™an Guru Nahuce from Bungudu LGA of Zamfara State found $80,000 (N56,000,000) and handed it over to the Zamfara Pilgrims Welfare Agency official for onward return to the owner.

â€œMay Almighty Allah rewards her honesty and accept her Hajj. Ameen.â€
Nigerians reacting to the development praised the woman and recommended that she should be given a national honour.

Usman Ibrahim wrote; â€œCharity begins at home. She must have come from an honesty home. Not all can do that nowadays. May Allah rewards her.â€

Azeez Elubode wrote; â€œShe is a good Nigerian ambassador and she deserved a national award from FG and her state govt.â€
