Former Yobe Governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim Dies In Saudi Arabia

A former Governor of Yobe state, Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim died on Sunday in far away Madina, Saudi Arabia.
Family sources said the former governor died after a protracted illness.
Ibrahim also served as a senator for two terms, representing Yobe East Senatorial District.
He was born in 1949 in Goniri, Gujba in the old Borno state.
He was the governor of Yobe state from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.
He also served as governor of the state from January 1992 to November 1993.
