Arewa Youth Congratulates Amaechi Over Daura Chieftaincy... Rally Support For His Presidency

Young persons from the northern part of Nigeria, under the auspices of Arewa Youths for Amaechi 2023, have described the appointment of Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, as Dan Amanar Daura (Trusted Son of Daura) as a reward for his dedication to the development of Nigeria.The group in a congratulatory message explained that the decision of the Emir of Daura, Umar – Faruk Umar and his entire council agrees with its position that the Minister is a nationalist who harbours no religious or regional sentiments.The group in a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Comrd. Yusuf Yahuza maintained that Hon. Amaechi has distinguished himself as an astute legislator, administrator and politician who has shown uncommon zeal for human and infrastructural development over his years of public service."The Minister of Transportation has over the years, as a public servant, proven to be people-oriented. As Speaker, and later governor of Rivers State, he wrote his name in the sound of history. His achievements in Rivers speak volume many years after he left the state."As Minister, Amaechi has again proven that he is a bridge builder and a transformational leader. His dexterity in infrastructural development has given birth to a revolution in the nation's railway sector. The Minister has not allowed premodial sentiments to influence siting of projects but base his judgements on economic and general wellbeing of the Nigerian people."This is why we are certain that Amaechi is the person that Nigeria needs to drive the development it desires."As 2023 general elections approaches, we are not unaware of the expectations of well meaning citizens. This is why having looked round the country, we have been able to identify the current Minister of Transportation as one who is in the best position to take over the mantle of leadership from President Muhammadu Buhari.
