The Presidency has released the routes to be covered under the Christmas free train ride and subsidized road travels.
Presidential aide Bayo Onanuga in a tweet on his X handle also listed GIG (God is Good), Chisco Transport, Young Shall Grow, God Bless Ezenwata and Area Motor as the participating companies for the road trips while the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) executes the free train rides.
Under the scheme announced by the Federal Government yesterday, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, upwards of 5 million commuters are to benefit during this Yuletide season with 50 per cent road transportation rebate.
The scheme starts today and ends on January 4, 2024.
