I have come to the public space with a heart full of conviction and a clear sense of responsibility to announce my irrevocable decision to realign my support and followership with the Honourable Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo.
This decision did not come lightly, nor was it made out of impulse. It is the product of deep reflection and a sincere assessment of the realities I have personally experienced. Having discovered what I consider to be a growing level of marginalisation, neglect, and lack of inclusiveness in the political structure I personally built and nurtured over time, I have chosen to embrace a new direction.
At this point in my journey, I choose happiness over depression, relevance over neglect, inclusion over isolation, togetherness over division, and affection over rejection.
Leadership, to me, is about people. It is about recognising their efforts, valuing their loyalty, giving them a sense of belonging, and creating an environment where everyone can contribute meaningfully. Where there is no room for inclusion, there can hardly be room for genuine loyalty.
Therefore, with a clear conscience and without bitterness, I take full responsibility for my unapologetic and irreversible transition of leadership and political alignment.
This is not an act of hatred or vindictiveness. It is a decision born out of the desire to move towards a political environment where people matter, contributions are recognised, and every loyal follower has a place at the table.
I remain grateful for the experiences, lessons, relationships, and opportunities that have shaped my journey thus far.
However, every journey reaches a point where one must choose between remaining where one feels forgotten and moving towards where one believes one can find renewed purpose.
For me, that choice is now clear.
I choose a new beginning.
I choose inclusion.
I choose relevance.
I choose purposeful leadership.
I choose happiness over depression.
And with conviction, I publicly declare my transition of followership and leadership to Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, the Honourable Minister of Interior.
