James Earl Jones, the iconic actor who brought to life the beloved character of King Jaffe Joffer in the classic comedy film “Coming to America,” has passed away at the age of 93, his agent announced on Monday.
He was famous for his roles as Mufasa in “The Lion King”, King Jaffe Joffer in “Coming to America and “Star Wars” villain, Darth Vader.
Jones had one of the most powerful, evocative, and emotional baritone in cinema history.
He was also the iconic voice behind the the CNN intro “This is CNN”.
