Sacked Managing director of Nirsal bank,Aliyu Abdulhameed is now on the run following a raid by Law enforcement agents at his Gwarimpa, Abuja residence on Sunday night.
According to media reports, Abdulhameed was involved in multiple allegations of corruption, including a 2018 wheat project meant for farmers in Kano and Jigawa States and which the sum of N5bn was embezzled.
He also acquired properties in dubai and businesses run by his son Imran Aliyu, Hotels in South Africa, Houses in the United Kingdom and Germany.
He has severally spurned invitations by the law enforcement and has been in hiding.
