In yet another expanded meeting held today, the FCT Minister Nyesom Wike visits Governor Fubara again at his Port Harcourt residence to finalise reconciliation talks between the governor's supporters and the Rainbow Coalition, as the minister seeks a united front ahead of the 2027 presidential And governorship election.
The meeting brought together a wider gathering of political leaders, including members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, National Assembly members, serving Local Government Area chairmen and supporters from both sides.
The engagement provided another opportunity for stakeholders from the two camps to come together, address their differences and work towards lasting peace and unity in Rivers State.
After the two hours meeting, the parties declined to speak to the media and there was no statement or specific details of the discussions and any fresh agreements reached.
